We've Come to Our Senses!
Finally, we ditched that crapola hosting we've had for the last 5 years. The long-time LiNKYers out there will be well aware that this is long overdue. The recent bandwidth fiasco is certainly not the first time we have all paid dearly for our poor hosting choice. I would mention who they are, but they don't even deserve bad press.

ANYHOW, I can tell you from first-hand experience that the new hosting is much more reliable and you can look forward to an improved experience.

You also might have noticed that we have added advertising by Google on some of the home pages. I have been reluctant to do this up to now, but I decided it could very well help offset the cost of hosting this site. We hope you don't mind. In fact, we thought you might even show us just how much you like LiNKY by checking out one of our fine new sponsors... it's up to you!

I've mentioned it before: It's you guys -- the loyal LiNKYers out there -- who make LiNKY so great. We thank you for your enthusiasm and support and wish you very HaPPY LiNKYing!

you're probably thinking to yourself that something seems different. well something is. we have been working on improvements to your favorite web tool. these changes are based on feedback we've received from loyal LiNKYers out there. There will be much more to come, but for now look, for the following improvements:

also, we've added some new links for those of you having trouble with their existing bookmarklets. these let you LiNKY inline to avoid pop-up blocker issues:

after carefully training all you linkyers out there to not bother with the busted contact page, i finally got that darn thing fixed. so, if you got something on your mind, let 'er rip!

Believe it or not...
sometimes we listen.

some of you may have noticed an enhancement called Quick-Complete categories we added recently. well, here's how it (is supposed) to work: begin typing the name of one of your categories in the the Quick-Complete field, and LiNKY will auto-complete it from your personal list of categories. it's that easy. enjoy!

btw, i know the feedback form is busted real bad (poor hosting choice!), but we're still listening. mail feedback to feedback @ mylinky.com!

i did a little spring cleaning and found these links back in the corners. thought i'd share 'em with the masses.

i got a lot of requests for a "private" feature on linky. not sure why, but whatever it is those guys are linkying will probably make you go blind eventually, so maybe it's a good thing.
